Statement for Star Maps [video]

Here is a clip of “Star Maps,” which remembers my father in two instances: when he showed me the Milky Way as a small child outside our country home, then during his last days in the hospital. For some reason, both memories have the same feeling to me.

The arpeggiated chords depict the stars solemnly making their pilgrimage across the sky. “Where are they going?” I wonder.
